A different way to serve okra with an interesting blend of flavors.
- Fry bacon to a crispy golden brown.
- Dice the onion and tomato (drain excess juice from tomato).
- Fry the okra and allow to cool to warm and crumble bacon into the okra.
- Add tomato and onion; toss and serve.
The entire family enjoyed this salad! Very easy to prepare. I never would have thought FRIED okra and tomatoes would be good together...I'm glad I tried this recipe!
