Simple salad dressing is great on tossed salads but is also delicious as a marinade for chicken. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (February 1984)
- 177.44 ml olive oil
- 73.94 ml white wine vinegar
- 2.46 ml dry mustard
- 2.46 ml sugar
- 2.46 ml salt
- 2.46 ml pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake or whisk to combine.
- Shake again before using.
This is a great standard Oil and Vinegar that can me mixed onto any salad and can be changed with great results. We used Apple Cider Vinegar one time and Balsamic the next.
It was close to what I was looking for. A little oily, next time I will reduce the oil ratio. Thank you!
This wasn't a great recipe but not too bad either. It was a bit too oily for my taste, but I was able to finish the salad. I will use the remaining dressing in a bread recipe I have, since I didn't care it over the salad.
