4 and a 1/2 stars actually. I did tweak this recipe a bit. I was snowed in all of today and limited greatly on supplies. As an unsalted butter substitute I used I can't believe it's not butter. Instead of 5 ounces of unsweetened chocolate I used 3 oz. of semisweet and 2 of bittersweet and reduced the sugar to 1 and 1/8 cup. I ran out of vanilla so I couldn't add any of it. Also, I didn't coarsley chop ALL my oreos, I left some slightly chunky. I had no aluminum foil, so I simply buttered an 8 by 11 glass pan. The result though, was simply fantastic. I canNOT wait to try it again with all the essential ingredients.

I had high hopes for these, but really didn't care for the finished product. The consistency and flavor wasn't what I had expected. Sorry!

These tasted really sinful and delicious but I found that the base was quite greasy. Had to sit these on absorbent paper for a while after cooking . Not sure if I'd make them again but they were good for a chocolate fix!

My chocolate-loving DS enjoyed these, I only baked them for just over 30 minutes, I made them using semi-sweet baking chocolate squares and decreased the sugar by 1/4 cup, as that is all I had handy, they still turned out wonderful with a nice chewy texture, thanks lazyme!...Kitten:)

Decadent! I only used 4 squares of chocolate and they were plenty chocolaty and brownie like. I made an 8x8 pan and just broke the oreos up by hand. They are thick and awesome with a cold glass of milk! Thanks!
