This was amazing! It's one of few recipes where the first bite makes you say, "Ummhmm!" out loud! Thanks for sharing it Rita! It's a keeper!
I made this recently and thought it was very good and simple to boot. I bought my roasted garlic from the olive bar at the grocery store and it was not as soft as when I make it at home. Therefore, next time I will put it in a food processor to mix it together better. I used a touch less panko than called for. Great flavor, could use a wee bit of liquid for my taste, so next time I'll add a tablespoon of white wine in the bottom of the pan. Tasty, I'll make it again! Thank you for posting.
Very very good! I cut the recipe down for just the two of us and added a little cayenne pepper for a little kick to the topping ingredients and this was delicious. Served with Healthy Fries#176599 and a green salad. Definately a keeper. Made for the Zaar Alphabet Soup tag game.
Sounded good. Way too salty for me. I did leave out the parsley as I didn't have any. Maybe that is what it needed.
This recipe is good all on it's own, but I thought it needed something...so I sprinkled alittle more brown sugar on top, and then for the kicker I spread some horseradish mustard over the top of the breadcrumbs. My husband and the guy doing some remodeling loved it, and said it was the best fish they'd had in a long time!
I'm making this for the secomd time tonight. Used salmon instead of cod, and reduced the oil a bit, but otherwise followed to a "T". Roasted the garlic in the microwave (not as good, I know, but WAY faster). A keeper for sure.
Quite delicious! Kids left, so we had leftovers, which my wife turned into a fantastic seafood stew! I love the flavors of the sauce and how the the garlic subtly comes through, while the textures give a nice blend of crunch and savory smokiness throughout the fish. I will try it again on all my favorite light white fish. Thanks for a great recipe!
My,Oh My, You're right. This has good taste and texture.
