MUFFINS
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄2 cup granny smith apple, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1⁄2 cup pumpkin, mashed
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped

TOPPING
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir and combine ingredients in the order listed in ingredient list.
- Fill muffin cups halfway to the top. Sprinkle tops with topping.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
- Makes about 2 dozen normal size muffins or 1 dozen large muffins (if using a Jumbo muffin pan--like I do).
