Bavarian cheese spread to eat while drinking beer.
- 250 g camembert cheese, ripe
- 75 g butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons onions, sweet, diced
- 20 ml hefeweizen beer
- Make sure the butter and cheese are at room temperature. Mash them together leaving some chunky bits.
- Add the paprika, salt and pepper and beer. Mix well and refrigerate for several hours.
Unusual and delicious = fun! The recipe didn't say anything about discarding the rind from the cheese, so I mashed it in with the rest. This is wonderful with beer and crackers. Thanks, Coasty! Made for ZWT6.
