      Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.

      Bring to a boil and reduce to medium heat stirring frequently, about 5 minutes until milk is absorbed.

      Remove from heat and cool for several minutes.

      This was a great breakfast. The maple syrup and brown sugar gave it just the right touch of sweetness. But cooking the oats in milk (I usually cook them in water) gave it such a creamy texture that was a pleasant surprise. Thank you for sharing your recipe, Queen Puff. Made for Fal 2012 Pick-A-Chef.

      Made this for breakfast this morning, the boys loved it. Also, now fixing it for them for a Saturday lunch, guess it was a hit. We may have added a little extra brown sugar and syrup! Mmmmm! Thank you!
