Crust
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts

Filling
- 4 cups peeled, cored, diced apples (Granny Smith or whatever "pie" apple you like)
- 2⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping
- 1⁄4 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 cup butter
directions
- Combine apples with sugar, flour and cinnamon.
- Spoon filling into pastry lined 9" pie plate.
- Combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon.
- Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spoon topping over apple filling.
- (Pie can be frozen at this point, add 20 minutes to baking time, bake frozen) Bake in a preheated 375 oven for 35 minutes.
