- 295.73 ml all-purpose flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml cinnamon, ground
- 236.59 ml butter or 236.59 ml margarine, softened
- 177.44 ml granulated sugar
- 177.44 ml brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 709.77 ml quick oats or 709.77 ml old fashioned oats
- 311.84 g package butterscotch chips
- 2.46 ml salt
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract or 1 orange, zest of, grated
directions
- Preheat oven to 375 deg. F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in oats and morsels.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies, 9 to 10 minutes for crisp cookies.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
