      I have always preferred this recipe over the newer version. I like to substitute whole wheat flour and add raisins. Although butter is by far the best, solid coconut oil can be substituted with great results! Outstanding recipe!

      This is the same recipe I have used for years. It is the original one and the best! The orange extract is definately the secret ingredient in this cookie. People at my work love them. Thanks for posting!

      The addition of the orange extract (or zest) is a MUST. While these don't exactly taste of the orange, it does give it that "certain something". My BF's favorite cookie of all time.
