This was my Grandma's recipe. It is versitile as you can add blueberries, nuts, raspberries,etc. I usually double this recipe.

  1. Soak oatmeal and buttermilk for 1 hour.
  2. Add egg and beat well.
  3. Add sugar and oil.
  4. beat well.
  5. Stir in dry ingredients until just blended.
  6. Bake 15-20 minute at 400°F.
