      Mirjam, this is the second recipe of yours I tried today, and I can't decide which is better! I halved this recipe and used chopped almonds. I didn't have quick-cooking oats so I used rolled oats, substituted applesauce for the butter, and reduced the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. I baked for 30 minutes. They were a little sticky on the underside, but that didn't stop me from gobbling all the leftover crumbs in the pan. The orange marmalade adds an awesome tang! This makes the perfect healhy snack that I was looking for!

      I thought these sounded wonderful... maybe I didn't bake them long enough, though I kept 'em in the oven for 30 minutes. They were too much like eating a thick bowl of oatmeal. While not necessarily a bad thing, it wasn't what I expected from these... I think I was missing the crunch! They tasted okay... perhaps just not the bar cookie that I expected. Thank you anyways!

      Super yummy and delightfully easy. Made a pan this morning before using only one bowl. I also subbed applesauce for butter, omitted nuts, and on a whim added some drained mandarin orange slices I smooshed by hand. Thanks for sharing, Mirjam - I'm a big fan of your recipes!
