Very tasty cookie! Didn't have vanilla chips so I substituted with butterscotch and they turned out great. Next time I'll double the batch to keep some dough for my freezer!

This could well be my new favorite Xmas cookie recipe.

What a pleasant "Christmas-sy" flavor! Loved the addition of orange zest! I also used dried cranberries because my fresh ones weren't so fresh anymore and they came out great! I couldn't keep these on our cookie tray at work! (They tend to get dry by the end of the day, though...so you may want to throw a piece of saran wrap over them if they are going to 'sit out'.) Also I baked mine for only 9 minutes and they were perfect. Thanks as usual MizzNezz. Holiday or no holiday...your recipes rock!

Very nice flavor combination, just as promised! They are soft and chewy. Each time I ate one, I couldn't help but think that they'd be good with coconut...might try adding a little next time. I've already shared the recipe with my MIL, who also enjoyed them, and I just made them yesterday.
