Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

"These are a different twist on the traditional oatmeal cookie. They have orange craisins instead of regular raisins and a splash of OJ; makes them oh so tasty!! Enjoy!"

  • Heat oven to 350. Cream shortening, sugars, egg, and extracts. Heat OJ and orange peel in microwave for 30 seconds. The heat really brings out the flavor in the cookies. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop teaspoons on greased cookie sheet or baking stone. Bake until lightly brown.
