This recipe is a favorite my my husband and I. It is so easy to make, and I usually have all the ingredients on hand. I don't put nuts in, just dark chocolate chunks. I like to freeze most of the batch and they are delicious and chewy straight out of the freezer.

Now this is a great recipe that certainly makes a lot of bars very easily! Loved that we could eat them warm right after baking and then the next day they are just as yummy more firmed up. I did not change anything but omitting the nuts this time around. Tagged & Made for Went to the Market Tag Game.

Very tasty, and so easy to make. I cut the recipe in half and baked in a 9x13 for 30 minutes. We preferred it better when cooled completely. I especially loved the outer edges. Mmmm. Thanks for sharing Sharon.
