Too dry. Next time I would reduce the flour by half a cup. I also thought there was too much sugar in the recipe, so I reduced it to about 3/8c brown sugar. That worked pretty well. I also added some vanilla. Probably will use some coarse sea salt next time.

Just wanted to say these turned out great using whole wheat pastry flour and coconut oil instead of butter. I like chocolate a lot more than butterscotch so I might try making them with just chocolate chips next time. These make a nice thick chewy bar!

SUPERB! Served these to a bunch of my friends when I hosted a game night. All too soon these soft and finger-lick'n bars were gone! Didn't have any butterscotch chips so just used more chocolate chip. They were still wonderful!
