I made the recipe as pancakes and they were delicious. I added a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and yummm. I cut the recipe back to a quarter amount and needed to add 3 tablespoons extra of whole wheat flour to get the consistency I wanted for thick pancakes. High health factor and lots of fiber along with the great taste. Made for Photo Tag.

Out of the world, full of whole grain flavor. The whipped egg white made the fluffy, but still full fo whole grain taste. Will certainly make these again. Made for everyday tag... thanks for a lovely change of pace.

I, too, made these into pancakes and they were quite good. DH gives them a 5.5--he says all pancakes are fives and these are good ones LOL. I did sour the milk before adding because I am partial to buttermilk pancakes, and I added a few shakes of cinnamon as well. I would agree that the batter was a bit runny at first, but as it sat it thickened up and I didn't add any extra flour. That said, I only used 1 T of oil and 1 T of applesauce. Maybe the extra oil makes it runnier? Thanks for posting; I know we'll make these again! Made for 123 Hits.

These have great flavor. I did have to add extra flour as the batter was pretty runny and I has a disaster with my waffle iron ~ half the waffle was stuck to the top and the other half to the bottom!!! I will admit that what I recovered from the waffle iron was pretty good ~ had to fight DD for it ~ nice and crunchy! The only thing I can attribute to the runny batter was that I had to grind my own oat bran (thought I had some but I didn't). Anyway, I will make these again! Thanks for posting this breezer! Made for 1-2-3 Hits.
