Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F.
  2. Brush a 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan with butter.
  3. Heat brown sugar, syrup, butter, and salt in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts until well coated.
  5. Spread mixture in pan.
  6. Bake 15 minutes. Remove and cool 10 minutes. Loose with a metal spatula and let stand until firm, about 1 hour.
  7. Store in covered container.
