I <3 KITTENCAL! I had the matzah version of this at a recital, and had to make it for myself at home. DELICIOUS! I messed it up though by using a way too small saucepan, which cut the boiling time to 1 minute before it starting boiling over uncontrollably. It was a Homer Simpson moment: D'OH! It is still yummy, though, just a little soft.

This was fast, easy, and yummy. I had this years ago, but didnt know the recipe, thanx so much for sharing. I don't think it had the chocolate chips on it though, but I did it exactly as written and it was fabulous.

I love this candy. This is almost the same recipe that I found in an old Taste of Home however, that recipe uses either butter or margarine (not light margarine) and it works with either. Of course the butter one does taste richer. My own preference is to use finely chopped peanuts in place of the pecans. Everyone should try this - it is simple and always disappears in a hurry. Thx.

My family and I just didn't care for these. I followed the recipe exactly as written and I even made two batches thinking maybe I did something wrong but it tasted the same both times. It came out way too hard and it had a weird taste to it. This went straight into the trash, sorry. I'm giving this recipe a two because it WAS very easy to make and that deserves some stars. Thanks!!
