This is a recipe I learned in my middle school home economics class. It has been a favorite of mine since then. It's super simple and very yummy (and very sweet).
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy your choice)
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- In a large sauce pan mix sugar and syrup, bring to a boil, then turn off heat and stir in peanut butter until combined well.
- Stir in chow mein noodles.
- spoon portions of about 1 teaspoon (or size desired) on to wax paper to cool.
