Nutty Chocolate Waffles With Cocoa Butter

- 1 cup flour
- 1⁄4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, finely chopped

COCOA BUTTER
- 1⁄4 cup butter, softened
- 1⁄4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
directions
- WAFFLES: combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk together milk, oil and egg until blended. Add milk mixture to flour mixture and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in pecans. Let batter stand for 10 minutes.
- Cook in a preheated greased waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Serve with cocoa butter.
- COCOA BUTTER: Combine all ingredients until blended. Makes about 1/4 cup.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
