  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 large green apple, cored
  • 1 large banana, peeled, cut into chunks and placed in a zip plastic bag and frozen
  • 1 cup milk (can use 1 or 2% fat milk, or use orange juice instead of milk)

  • Wash spinach and apple well. Pour into a blender and blend with the apple.
  • Add frozen banana chunks and milk. Cover, blend and serve immediately.

  1. My Husband and I love this. He recently was in the hospital and upon his release I decided we needed to eat a little healthier. I found this and we both start our day with a different type of smoothie each morning. I did find that I had to add 1/2 cup of orange juice to the mix as it was to thick for hubby to drink.
