  2. The only thing I had to tweak to make this recipe perfect was the amount of cream...needed about two or three more teaspoons to become fluffy and perfect. Topped the cake with a silky chocolate ganache, and it was heavenly!

  3. This is by far the best frosting I have ever made. Make sure to let the butter sit out in room temperature for at least 1 hour prior to starting, and I also used unsalted butter. After reading the other reviews I decided to add the powdered sugar in increments of 1/2 cups. After I added the first 1/2 cup and mixing it was sweet enough for me. I also did not need to add any milk it was the perfect consistency. Thank you so much for this recipe.

  5. my family asked me to make all the cakes from now on.Said it was the best cake they ever ate.Just was a chocolate cake mix.So had to be the frosting.Allso made the buttercream frosting recipe for the vanilla tier.Allso amazing.

Tweaks

  1. I added a little vanilla.
     
  2. I made this but the pwdered sugar, Nutella and butter were not mixing as I would like and being chunky so I tossed it in the microwave for 30 seconds, mixed it, and then put it in the refrigerator. It worked perfectly!
     
  3. Cut the powdered sugar by two thirds.
