These are really good... I've been on a quest to make homemade nutella lately, so I've got several batches made up that the kids didn't like. I used them in this recipe and the kids went nuts (heh. No pun intended.) I left out the nuts in the recipe because we don't like crunch in our cookies, but otherwise they are great. Didn't bother to chill... baked for 11 minutes and they were fine.

These were the perfect addition to my cookie gift plates this year! They were a big hit with a Nutella-loving friend. I didn't have time to chill the dough, and I ended up with exactly 4 dozen cookies. I don't think it really affected anything by not chilling--the first batch was a little too doughy at 8 minutes, so if you don't have time to chill the dough, 11 minutes worked out nicely for me. Hazelnuts might be a little pricey, but they really make this cookie complete!
