Nut Crust Cookies

"This is a cookie recipe my mother got out of a newspaper when I was a kid, the original recipe said it could be made as a pie crust or as cookies. My mother always opted for the cookies and so did I. These are best served the first day you make them and do not keep well, but are worth the effort, besides they don't make many and are so good they will soon be gone. Also don't freeze them, they don't like it."
