- 1 cup softened butter
- 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- sifted powdered sugar
- Cream first 3 ingredients and water.
- Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.
- Shape into crescents.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool on a rack; roll in powdered sugar.
