Meatloaf was moist and delicious, it also held together well when slicing. I added 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 T Worchestershire sauce, and 1 T spicy mustard. I made a packet of Knorr brown gravy and served over meatloaf. I think I have now found my perfect meatloaf! Thanks for posting ReeLani

Very nice meatloaf, it reminds me of my grandmother's. This tasted really good, and as others have mentioned the meatloaf cuts and holds together well too. I reduced the milk to 3/4 C and used about 1 tsp of the poultry seasoning. I will make this again. Thx.

Loved it! I actually liked the absense of tomato products. Most of my other meatloafs have ketchup and/or tomato soup. It was plain, but that's what I liked. It went great with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. It made even better meatloaf sandwiches! Great recipe!!!

I followed directions except I didn't measure the seasonings (I am genetically predisposed to be a dump cook). I also added garlic. I was kind of skeptical about the poultry-seasoning in a meatloaf, but it turned out great and I will make this again...still with the garlic. :)

WOW-Now this is the BEST, moistest meatloaf I have ever had! I have tried about 3 meatloaf recipes here on Zaars and as they were good, sorry to say this tops it!! Melt in your mouth DELICIOUS!! I added about 2 tablespoons of Chipotle BBQ sauce to the top about 15 minutes before it was done, just because I like the Chipotle BBQ sauce flavor on my meats, especially meatloaf. I hope this recipe is discovered by other Zaars members, cuz for those that love a meatloaf, this is the one. Thank you so much for posting and if I could rate 10 stars I would :) I will for sure make again. Sorry for the bad photo but my close-ups all came out blurry except for a few.

We're not big on tomato based toppings here so this was perfect. Not a bit of it went to waste. It was very flavorful and moist and definitely a contender against our favorite Dutch meatloaf.

A very good meatloaf, quite moist and had a nice flavor. Easy, clear instructions as well. I don't miss the tomato topping, as my mother made hers without one also. This made nice sandwiches also, once cooled.

I have never made a meatloaf without tomato products so I thought I'd give this a try. It was good but I've found out I like the tomato based meatloaf. I'm glad I tried yours -- it was tasty, just not for me.

Good basic recipe for meatloaf. Call it old fashioned, but call it good!

This meatloaf is perfect just as it is. Mine is far more complicated, has a ridiculously long list of ingredients and is such a pain to make, I seldom do. I like yours sooo much better. Dh just adores a good meatloaf sandwich and he was totally impressed with this one. When I first piled the mixture into its baking pan it was a bit soft and didn't hold its shape well. A little refrigeration fixed that and I was able to get just the form I wanted for perfect sandwiches.
