Not Your Usual Fruit and Vegetable Dip!

"This is from another recipe of mine, but I thought I'd post it separately as I love it with apples. I don't like apples! I'll eat apples with this, LOL! Would be good with carrots too, I think."

  1. Unusual, but quite good. I served this with carrots and apples. I liked it better with the apples; DH liked it better with the carrots.

  2. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars because it wasn't a favorite but a few really liked it. I made 5 different dips for my vegetable tray at a party at my home. I had two that really enjoyed it. I thought it was very good.

  3. A great dip, & yes, it goes well with carrots, as well as celery, jicama, & other veggies! I did a little switch or two, though, using chunky peanut butter as well as Dijon honey mustard! Great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed for Newest Zaar Tag, 08A, cooking game]

I am a Christian wife and mother of 3 kids. Since my DH's high cholesterol, we've been eating better. I never used to like cooking. Since eating better, I've liked learning and preparing new recipes. My kids haven't reconciled themselves to the new eating yet. I grind my own grain and make all my own breads.?Working 2 hours a day in the local high school lunch room.??I am homeschooling my high schooler.? ?Also found out 1 child has multiple food allergies (wheat, dairy, tomato, chocolate, etc) and another is gluten sensitive. So, we just started (July 09) eating gluten and dairy free. I've been busy with getting our house market ready, even though it's not the best time for that.?
