This makes an outstanding loaf of bread. The flavors are very unique, unlike any yeast bread I have ever made before. It was extremely moist. The spices gave it a wonderful aroma and a subtle spicy flavor. The texture was fine, but not so dense as to be heavy. I would classify it as a sweet bread, which seemed odd to me since it is a rye bread. I used dark rye flour (because that is what I had on hand) and Bud Light Beer. You really must try this one! Thanks for posting Cindy Lynn!

This bread is sweet but not too sweet. I used a pumpkin ale. I was planning on making with a butternut squash soup. I had to change plans but I think it would have worked.

This was my 1st beer bread venture- and wow! I used the only bottle of beer we had in the house: Bud Light. Turned out great. No need to add a thing- this bread is sweet and is great as a stand-alone snack.
