  1. A SOUPER SOUP thanks ElaineAnn! We enjoyed this for dinner with crusty rolls................I made it as posted with chopped bacon instead of ham - a wonderful hearty soup. Made for the Scandi tag events in KK's forum. Merci ElaineAnn!

  2. We loved this soup. Yes it does make a large potful. I have 4 double servings in the freezer and we had it for lunch today. Come Winter we will be enjoying it. The store where I did my produce shopping did not have celeric. I was in a hurry and did not have time to shop around - I used celery and it worked. It may not be the prettiest color (no split pea soup is) but it sure makes up for it in flavor.
