North Vietnamese Dipping Sauce

"The North Vietnamese don't use chilies in their sauces as the South Vietnamese do. The pepper in this recipe can be adjusted to taste, and makes a good table condiment for many Viet dishes."

  4. This is so good...I was trying to re-create a grilled pork and rice noodle dish from my favorite Vietnamese restaurant and this was just about spot-on! I used honey instead of sugar and added a tiny dash more rice vinegar than it called for.
