I have finally perfected my guacamole. Since I live in Alberta, Canada, it may not be as "kicky" as your more southern versions, but the layering of flavors is what we love, so I am recording this here for my future reference. When I made this yesterday, I was in awe of what an incredible gift from the Creator that avocados are.
- 2 avocados
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 -2 teaspoon fresh lime juice (not quite half a lime's worth)
- 1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro
- 2 -3 tablespoons hot salsa
- salt & pepper
- Peel and pit avocado. Add all ingredients to food processor, whir until smooth.
- Enjoy this incredible, healthy snack with some yummy, not-quite-so-healthy Tostitos round tortilla chips (or whatever is your favorite).
