  • In a medium frying pan, heat the oil; saute the onion over medium heat until it softens.
  • Add all the remaining sauce ingredients except ground beef; stir well, and heat.
  • Crumble the ground beef into the mixture, stirring well to break up the meat.
  • Simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes, or until mixture thickens.
  • Assembly--place hot dogs in buns; top with Michigan Sauce, mustard, and onion.
  • Serve immediately.
