What a nice, versatile rub mixture. I used it on chicken, then baked the chicken in a 350 degree oven for about an hour. The rub imparted a unique and very tasty flavor. Next time I will cut down the salt to maybe 1 tablespoon of the coarse sea salt. Thanks for posting this yummy rub recipe!

This was absolutely fantastic! I used half this mixture on a nice steak and the other half on some chicken last night - both were really amazingly tasty and like chia I did not find this too spicy at all, just full of great flavour - thanks for the recipe which will certainly be made again!

this smells wonderful. i mixed up a batch and used it on some rib steaks which we grilled. i didn't find it too spicy and it added a great depth of flavor to the beef.
