i made 2 recipes ,which were both good,but i prefer this one because of the cinnamon ,go figure, its really good try this one zwt9
A few comments were, "too salty", "no, not for me", "delicious", "yum", "it's ok"... - from 'will never eat again' to 'please make this again soon'. I melted the butter & added the spices to brush on the corn while cooking which worked well. Then I burned it a bit on one side. *I* thought it was s bit heavy on the cumin. Corn gets a totally different texture when cooked on a grill vs. boiling or steaming. I think many were not expecting that. I cut the 4 ears up into smaller pieces to make more servings. I will be making this again this week & will cut back on salt & cumin plus watch them cooking more carefully! Made for ZWT9, Mike & the Appliance Killers.
This made for a wonderful veggie side to Harissa-Marinated Top Sirloin Tips! DH and I both loved the spice mixture on this, and DH was particularly happy about this being grilled rather than boiled. Just a light sprinkling of the seasoning was needed to keep this from being "dusty", so I had enough seasoning left over for a few more ears of corn. I liked mine with some extra butter, too, but that's just my preference with corn on the cob. I'll definitely be keeping this on hand for all that summer corn the landlord gives us from his garden, thanks for posting! Made for The Hot Pink Panthers for ZWT9
