I had this cocktail at a restaurant in Vail, Colorado years and years ago. I recently emailed the restaurant and said that my husband and I still talked about the wonderful meal that we had and the cocktail that I could not stop talking about, one of the best I had ever had...and to my suprise he sent me the recipe! I make these drinks whenever I crave a cocktail thats "just a little different" I hope you will enjoy it as well.
- 1 ounce Godiva original chocolate liqueur
- 1 ounce sambuca romana
- 3 ounces coffee, freshly brewed
- whipped cream
- chocolate shavings
- Mix inredients in a shaker
- Serve in a champagne glass.
- Garnish with fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
I've never had sambuca romana before so I was surprised when I found out it tasted like liquorice. Then I was afraid it was going to ruin a good shot of Godiva. But I went ahead and mixed the drink anyway. To my surprise it was good! The 2 liqueurs went well with each other. I adopted this chef for the *Spring PAC 2008* game
