Noodles and Corn Casserole

A very filling side dish casserole, which can be cooked either in the oven or the crockpot. The recipe calls for 1/4 cup sugar, I like to use about half of that.

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook and drain noodles.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Mix together and place in greased 2 quart baking dish.
  5. Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  6. Note: Can also be placed in a crockpot on low for 2 hours.

I cut the sugar in half and used about 6 tbs butter. We loved it! I will definitely make again, but next time I might cut the sugar and butter down even more. Thanks!

Easy tasty casserole. Subbed a different noodle, and used cheddar. Took the advice of previous posters and reduced the sugar, I liked the sweetness. Will reduce butter a bit next time as I found it a bit greasy. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I should have been able to figure out that it was sort of like macaroni and cheese with cream style corn added. Uncovered for the last 5 or 10 minutes to brown up a bit. Yum.

Good Taste! I cut the recipe in half. I used 1/2 tsp sugar and 6 ozs of cheese. I used the oven to bake. This is a simple easy to prepare dish. Thanks for posting!
