Homemade pasta or dumplings that can accompany any dish that would use pasta rice or potatoes.
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 400 g flour
- 1⁄4-1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Beat eggs add salt and four mixing into a dough add water until it becomes workable but not runny.
- I have a special nokedli maker from Hungry but my mom would put the dough on a flat plat and using a knife just cut pieces or dollops into boiling salted water. Once the dumplings have come to the top allow them to cook another minute or so and remove with a slotted spoon.
- Add butter or olive oil and serve.
