I can not eat tomatoes due to the acidity. This sauce is a great substitute for spaghetti/tomato sauce. I make a large batch in the crock pot and have it in the freezer.
- Cut everything up and place in the crock pot.
- Cook overnight until soft and mash to desired consistency.
- It can be cooked in a pot on the stove but I prefer the consistency from the crock pot.
