Really? Cookies without butter or eggs! How can this be - I don't know, but it is!! My DS and I made these tonight; we got 27 cookies with my 1T cookie scoop (baked for 10 minutes). We used pecans for the nuts and boy oh boy were these good! They are a soft cookie filled the chocolate chips (we used mini) and nuts in every bite and the dough was darn good on its own too! Most of them disappeared while they were still warm - so not sure how they taste cooled. Make sure they are done before removing from oven or they will stick (I used parchment paper lined cookie sheets); I took the first batch out and tried to lift a cookie off and they were a bit stuck to the paper, put 'em back in the oven for 2 minutes and then they came off with no problem. Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2009.
