No Brainer Cheese and Egg Souffle

Adapted from Wyatt House Country Inn North Conway, New Hampshire, this is easy! They serve this for breakfast!

  1. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, milk, garlic salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Spray 3 ramekins with non-stick cooking spray and fill 1/2 full with cheese. Pour egg mixture into ramekins and fill to top. Place ramekins on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes until high and fluffy. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Super easy!!! And delicious! And make a nice impression! We used pepperjack cheese and put sauteed peppers and onions with the pepperjack in the bottom. They puffed up beautifully and tasted amazing. Then ate them with avocado, sour cream and salsa for a southwest kick! We'll definitely be making these again.

I'm Impressed. They are not a classic souffle. But they are easy and delicious. More importantly they rose with no trouble and you can add anything to them. I only have individual square ramikins... and was worried they won't rise as it isn't round. But they did rise... no problems there. The kids really enjoyed it. Which says a lot as they are my harshest critics.

This was a good dish, but to bland. I will try it next time with some bacon and diced onion. I will make it again, but it needs more flavor.
