These are quick to make and delicious
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 3⁄4 cup peanut butter
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄4 cups quick oats
- Combine sugar, butter and milk.
- Bring to a boil.
- Boil for one minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla and peanut butter.
- Then stir in oats.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- Allow to cool.
Delicious and super easy. They always turn out moist and yummy. :) The only change I make is to add 1/2 tsp vanilla instead of 1/4 tsp. My daughters love to help with these. THanks!
These were delicious! My hubby loves chocolate nobakes but wanted me to make them with no chocolate just peanut butter. This recipe fit to a 'T' what I was looking for. Made according to directions, they were fabulous! Thanks for posting this recipe, it will be a permanent addition to my Zaar cookbook. Teresa Fadley
Delicious! FIVE WHOLE STARS! I love peanut butter. The chocolate version of these cookies is what I grew up with, but I wish Mom would've made peanut butter more often. Now, I don't have to rely on her!
