Good easy recipe, made these over the Christmas holidays. I added some chopped peanuts to the mix, about 1/2 cup. Nice and crunchy!! A new addition to my Christmas trays too..

yum,,just made these last nite!! I couldn't begin to count how many times in 30yrs I've made them. This is the exact recipe I use, so I know it's great! They don't last long around here. Just on a cute note,,my granddaughter loves them and wanted the recipe (she is 11) so I sent it to her but didn't think about her being a NEW cook....she cooked the oatmeal first, oh my,,I felt awful! She said "Grammy it said oatmeal and thats the only way I've ever eaten it, is cooked" Her mom added for un-cooked oatmeal and they ate it with a spoon. :)

These are my family's favourite cookies and go very well at gatherings too. I make these alot at home. I do use a little more peanut butter, though(about 2/3rd cup) and I cut down on the cocoa powder to 1/4 cup. These are wonderful when the chocolate craving bites up in you and most definitely, a Keeper!;-)
