I have several recipes for "no-bakes", but this one looked a little different. It's a good bit less chocolate-y than most other recipes, but I found this to be a plus. These cookies turned out really great, and much to my surprise, didn't start getting hard and crusty in the pan before I finished dropping cookies onto waxed paper! I also like the fact that this recipe uses much less butter than the other no-bake recipes I have gathered. Simply delicious and so, so, so quick when you have that craving for chocolate and peanut butter!

Great! I couldn't find my regular recipe since it's been awhile so I made a half batch of these instead. I used about 1/4 less sugar, more cocoa (almost double), just a pinch of salt, and a few more oats (just mixed more in 'til it looked like it usually does with other recipe). I also always use skim milk and it works fine in case anyone was wondering. ;) Thanks. :)

I am married and have three children ages 9 to 16. I work full-time so between work and attending as many school functions as I can possibly fit in, I have little time to prepare "gourmet" type dishes which require a lot of preparation time. I like tasty, quick-fix meals that use ingredients that are usually in my house and don't require an extra trip to the store. When I'm not waiting on my family or working, I like to do counted cross-stitch and recently started a new hobby----quilting.
