These are really good. I looked over a few of these similar recipes, and decided that this one seemed the easiest. Glad I did! So far, they have been sitting for about 7 minutes, had to take a taste and they are delicious. Still warm, I couldn't resist. :P I used about 4 Tbsp's of cocoa, as I love a dark chocolatey flavour, I also didn't use nuts, but did toss in a couple handfuls of coconut. These are very very rich.

Fabulous! I substituted Splenda for the sugar and low fat spread for the butter and they turned out great! I also halved the recipe since there are only two of us...and one of us (namely me) has been known to eat cookies until they are gone! I will absolutely make this recipe again and again.

Like the previous posted I didnt have any nuts either so I took their step and added another cup of oats. I didnt add the peanut butter because of sending to school with my daughter. They are really easy and a family favorite. I sometimes make them with coconut but didnt bother today. Thanks a bunch

Excellent! I didn't have nuts, so I just added an extra cup of oats. Yum!

My bunch has loved these for years also. I have seen recipes with 3 to 6 Tbsp. of cocoa. Depends on how chocolaty you like them. If you like coconut, try adding 1/2 cup flaked coconut to 2 1/2cups of oatmeal(fast cooking)& no nuts. They really are great! Just don't try this recipe in damp weather cause just like divinity it will not set(been there/done that). These are a big sellers in bake sales.

These are a staple treat and go very fast in my house. I use 3 cups of oats, 2/3 cup of crunchy PB, margarine as a substitute for butter, 3 tbsps. Hintz Dutch Processed cocoa powder. I liked the idea of adding walnuts(don't get pecans here)! Thanks for that, Becky!
