  1. Mix sugar, margarine, cocoa and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring often. Boil 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla and oats; stir well.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls on to waxed paper.
  5. Chill until cooled and hardened.
