  • Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Mix well and drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.

  1. Wonderful, easy dessert! Im 13 years old and make it all the time for my bother and sister, its a hit every time. This recipe is great for rainy days.

  2. I remember having these cookies as a kid and wanted to find a good recipe to make them for my children. This is exactly how I remember them tasting. So delicious and so so easy. Thanks for posting!

  3. Eight years ago this recipe got lost when we moved. I am so glad to find it posted here. My grown kids were thrilled that mom made "those" chocolate squares again. You see, I don't do the drop method; instead I pour the hot mixture in an 8"x8" pan and let it cool in the refrigerator. Later, it gets cut into small squares. Just seems much easier when you are short on time. Great flavor, almost like a chewy little piece of fudge. Thanks!

  4. These were so good. I was out of milk so I used a can of evaporated milk and it seemed to make them creamier.

  5. Just like I remember as a child! My husband agrees :) thank you <3

Hi everyone! Well to tell you a little about me... I'm 40 and married to a wonderful guy. We have 2 kids, my daughter is 22 and my son is 15. I'm from New Mexico. I have lived here most of my life. I drive a school bus. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for driving a school bus, but I actually like it a lot. It's nice being able to be off every time my son is off from school.
