Wonderful recipe, I have tried a lot of recipes from this website, a lot of them are very nice but this one compelled me to write a review, very nice flavour. Husband is a big nihari fan even though he is not pakistani but he loved the flavour too...thanks for sharing

Thanks for a good recipe. In the end I add fried onions to the Nihari and cook for a few minutes, gives a really nice flavor

I made this dish in my tagine, cooking over low heat for 2 1/2 hours. I sliced onions very thin & cook them along with the beef. Near the end I added 1 cup of instant rice & cooked for another 15 minutes. Thanks again for another great recipe. Made for Ramadan Tag
