ingredients

  • 34 lb steak (I buy precut stir fry beef. if your grocery store doesn't have this option, I'm sure you know how to)
  • 9 12 ounces udon noodles
  • 2 hot peppers (I'm not sure what kind of peppers I bought. They look similar to jalapenos, but they're a little hot)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seed oil
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

directions

  • Start a pot of water boiling.
  • Cut up your veggies and put them all in a bowl together.
  • In a large frying pan or Wok, heat up the Sesame Seed oil. Once hot, add the garlic - stirring rapidly to brown without burning.
  • Once the garlic is browned, turn down heat to med-high add the hot peppers, bell peppers, beef, and green onion.
  • Stir that around until the beef is cooked thoroughly. This SHOULD be right about the time the water is boiling --
  • Boil the Udon according to the packaging -- should be about 4 minutes.
  • While the Udon cooks, add the Fish Sauce and Soy Sauce to your vegetables.
  • Add a little Salt/Pepper if you want -- i did --
  • once the Udon is slightly cooked (you want it to be a bit chewy because it will continue to cook in the Wok), strain it and throw it in with your vegetables.
  • Stir-fry over medium heat for another 5 minutes to let the Udon absorb the flavor and cook a bit more.
  • Eat it.
