Tasty and very tender. I made a couple figure-8's but then went cookin4my3boys' route and made long, thin, ladyfinger-like shapes. I had mine with butter and honey and Bf had his with butter and cherry preserves. Yummy. Very tender, sticky batter, but actually amazingly easy to handle. I think these would be extra good if the final coating of flour was replaced by powdered sugar. I don't know if that would work... I may have to try it the next time. And there will be a next time. Loved them!

These are so delicious. I didn't make them in the figure eight shape rather in a "ladyfinger shape". They are a light pastry with just a little sweetness. They are terrific with tea or coffee. And with jelly or honey. Super Super good.
